Since the time Gilchrist has sit out of the playing eleven, this team has found the right balance. David Miller wasn't a costly buy for Punjab and look at the way he has returned every single penny of it. He has scored 352 runs so far. Mandeep Singh has been his best batting support. A lot also depends on the bowling line up consisting of Gony, Praveen Kumar, Azhar Mahmood, etc.

The visiting team Rajasthan Royals is in unbeatable form thanks to some brilliant batting performances by Rahul Dravid and Ajinkya Rahane. The biggest question mark for this team has been their poor performances in the away games. They would love to improve their records here at Mohali. A good knock is expected from mighty Shane Watson.

Match 2 - Kolkata Knight Riders vs Pune Warriors India

This match now hardly holds any importance as both the teams KKR and Pune Warriors are out of the tournament. They have no more chance of making it to the play-offs and this match is nothing more than a mere formality.

This match gives an opportunity to both the teams to restore some pride. If Pune can clinch a win against the defending champions, that would be a good morale booster for the team. KKR is in woeful form. Their disappointing form continued against Mumbai when they were bowled out of 105 chasing 171. Top scorer Gambhir has been in bad form since last many matches. Apart from Morgan and Bisla all the other batsmen have hardly contributed for the team.

Pune Warriors have managed to win just two matches this year. They are consistently inconsistent in all the departments of the game. Apart from few half centuries from Aaron Finch and Robin Uthappa, there is hardly anything we can mention about the batting line up. Even there isn't anything noteworthy about the bowling attack.

Delhi Daredevils are out of the league now. A lot of hopes were served if they can create some magic and interest in last few matches. But they crashed on a small total of 80 runs against Hyderabad. The whole batting line up has disappointed this year except Warner who has 352 runs to his name.

Match 2 - Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders at Mumbai

After a stunning victory over the team to beat CSK, Mumbai Indians now take on the fancied Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. MI enjoys the home conditions to the optimum and its hard to beat them at Wankhede.

Kolkata Knight Riders have slimmest of chances for play-offs berth as they have to win all their remaining matches. The rough form of Gautam Gambhir is now a worry for the team. Bisla has been in good form but is it too late for the team's good? Kallis and McCullum couldn't impress at all this year. KKR is in a do or die situation and hence all the players need to click if they have to beat the strong Mumbai team at home.

Malinga's fear has disappeared this year but Johnson has provided early breakthroughs while bowling. Dhawal Kulkarni is impressive and lately even Harbhajan has clinched good number of wickets. If David Hussey can contribute well, this team would be hard to beat.

Gautam Gambhir is doing consistently well with his bat. But he fails at times in his captaincy. And he is badly in need of support from the other hand when he bats. Manoj Tiwary and Kallis are injured and it could be a blessing in disguise if McCullum comes in and brings KKR on winning track.

Punjab's team has a descent bowling line up with Ryan Harris doing a good job at the top. He is well supported by Parwinder Awana and Piyush Chawla. Allrounder Azhar Mahmood can certainly come in handy with his bowling breakthroughs.

On the other hand if we talk about CSK, they would cherish the return of Albie Morkel into the side. Overall they have a well balanced side. They narrowly lost against Mumbai due to lack of runs from the upper order. A brilliant knock from Dhoni gave them hopes for a victory but it was proved wrong due to a brilliant catch by Pollard. CSK can take some positives out of that match. One of the biggest positives would be the way Dhoni batted with sheer confidence.

The team would expect similar contributions from Badrinath, Hussey, Murali Vijay, etc. Kings XI Punjab defeated CSK last year in both their meetings and this would certainly be on the minds of CSK players. So they need to pull up their socks and clinch a win here to boost their confidence for upcoming matches.

RCB vs Sunrisers and Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Daredevils - IPL 2013 Live

This IPL has started with underdogs performing better than the favourites. Teams like RCB, MI, CSK and KKR already have one loss each under their belt whereas teams like Sunrisers and Rajasthan Royals have started their campaigns with two consecutive wins. Here comes another day in IPL 6 with two matches on the same day.

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (1st Match)

Just couple of days ago we saw a thriller between RCB and Sunrisers as the match was tied and decided through a super over. Hyderabad clinched the match and Bangalore had to lose by a very small margin. So we can consider today's match as a rematch, just the venue has changed. This time RCB would feel comfortable at their home ground.

RCB faces KKR next after they finish their match against Sunrisers. So a win here would boost their confidence before they play against the defending champions who has won one and lost one so far in this year's IPL. The bowling department of RCB which includes Muralitharan, Unadkat, Henriques, etc. has performed well. Gayle, Kohli and company has batted well except the failures of Dilshan and Mayank Agarwal.

Sunrisers Hyderabad were considered to be one of the weakest teams but they have turned tables on the opposition. They have won both their matches so far and they would strive to win the third one and top the table. Bowling is fired up with Steyn, Ishant Sharma, Amit Mishra and Thisara Perera. 

Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Daredevils (2nd Match)

One of the most popular teams, Mumbai Indians; lost its opening match to RCB but won a thriller against CSK. They now take on Delhi Daredevils at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Mumbai recovered well from their two runs loss against RCB when they played against CSK.

MI would like to continue its winning momentum against the visiting team Delhi Daredevils. There is a bit of concern in the consistency of Mumbai Indians batting line up. Rayudu and Sharma need to click whereas Ponting and Sachin need to convert their starts into big scores. Bowling has looked good for Mumbai and once Malinga plays it would look better.

Delhi looks a very depleted side in the absence of injured Pietersen and Ryder. Sehwag wasn't available for first two matches and hopefully he plays in today's match against Mumbai. His presence would provide a lot of strength to the upper half of the batting order.

Delhi Daredevils played two and lost two matches so far in IPL 2013. So they need to pull their socks up before its too late for them in the round robin stage. David Warner has done a good job so far but captain Jaywardene and Indian youngster Unmukt Chand need to contribute more. Even Delhi's bowling can do much better if they have to upgrade their performances and points standings this year.

If this team plays well for next one monthl, we may see them in the final stages of IPL 2013. They have kicked off this season with good amount of confidence. As Rahul Dravid mentioned once Shane Watson joins the team, things would be better for Rajasthan Royals.

The batting line up of Rajasthan Royals will come to test against the pace of Brett Lee and swings of Balaji. Brad Hodge is one of the most experienced T20 players in the world and his presence means a lot to the team. Quickies here in Jaipur may enjoy the grass on the pitch. So no doubts if batsmen are tested in the early overs.

Kolkata Knight Riders have clearly sent a signal to all the teams that they are taking every match as their last match. This helps them to give their best. They are the defending champs and they need to play like defending their title.

KKR has played 10 matches against RR and won six out of them. RR would love to win here and settle the overall score to 5-6. They will adapt to a methodological approach of probably batting first and then defending it well. Similar could be the strategy of KKR.

Royal Challengers Bangalore is well known for swashbuckling batsman Chris Gayle. He wins matches for RCB single handedly. But sometimes this over dependency of Chris Gayle hurts the overall performance. Team's captain Virat Kohli is a brilliant cricketer and has scored a lot of runs in IPL. Dilshan, AB de Villiers and many such high scoring batsmen make the batting line up strong but still a lot depends on Chris Gayle's performances.

Indian Premier League has fascinated cricket fraternity year after the other. So far five editions of IPL have been played and each of them have been successful in their own ways. Four editions were played in India and one in South Africa. Let us have a look at the series results so far!

IPL 1 (2007/08):
The first edition was played in India. The final match was played between Chennai Super Kings led by Dhoni and Rajasthan Royals led by Shane Warne. On 1st June 2008, CSK scored 163 for 5 batting first at Mumbai. In reply Rajasthan Royals scored 164 for 7. This was a nail biting last ball finish.

IPL 2 (2009):
The second edition was played in South Africa. The final match was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Deccan Chargers at Johhanesburg on 24th May 2009. Deccan Chargers led by Adam Gilchrist scored 143 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 6 wickets. RCB led by Anil Kumble felt short of just 6 runs and lost the finals to Deccan Chargers.

IPL 3 (2009/10):
The third edition was played in India. The final  match was played between Dhoni led CSK and Sachin Tendulkar led Mumbai Indians at Mumbai on 25th April 2010. CSK scored 168 batting first and restricted MI to 149/9 to win the title by 22 runs.

IPL 4 (2011):
The fourth edition of IPL was played in India. The final match was played between Dhoni led CSK and Vettori led RCB at Chennai on 28th May 2011. CSK won the IPL title for second consecutive time. CSK defeated RCB by 58 runs.

IPL 5 (2012):
The fifth edition was also played in India. The final match was played between CSK led by Dhoni and KKR led by Gambhir. Out of five editions, CSK was successful to reach the finals for the fourth time. But this time KKR turned tables on them and won the final which was played at Chennai on 27th May 2012.

Let us hope IPL 2013 (IPL 6) brings us another season of great cricket performances
