So far so good teams like Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab have dominated. They are busy exchanging the top position in the points tally, while Rajasthan Royals are racing hard towards the apex. Delhi Daredevils always look depleted but they are giving some tough competition.

Mumbai Indians after five straight losses in the UAE have shown some resistance in India. They started with two big wins playing in Mumbai and let us see what is next for them. Royal Challengers Bangalore got a flying start to the IPL in the UAE but after couple of wins, nothing is going right for them. They are certainly one of the most powerful teams in this IPL but they need to get back to their winning ways.

Kolkata Knight Riders looked lack lustre at the start. But they have slowly gained momentum and they can be a team to beat if they clinch couple of big wins soon. Sunrisers Hyderabad aren't too popular but with such powerful hitters they can easily reach knock outs with some big upsets in the tournament.

IPL has a lot more to offer as there are loads of matches to go. Even in the midst of a lot of controversies surrounding the unwanted spot fixing saga, IPL has never lost its popularity. Stay tuned for more updates on the IPL 2014 and enjoy every bit of this T20 competition.

IPL Match 48 - Delhi Daredevils vs Sunrisers Hyderabad Live Streaming

Daredevils vs Sunrisers Live Streaming

If a team like Delhi is out of contention to make it to the play-offs, that doesn't mean their matches are not important for this league. Just imagine if Delhi wins few matches from here on, they can spoil parties of few teams which are already in contention of reaching play offs. Delhi Daredevils travel to Hyderabad to face Sunrisers.

Sunrisers Hyderabad is placed on fifth position just below Mumbai Indians. A win here can take them to top four rankings pushing Mumbai down a bit. They have played four matches at home and won all of them. This team has been the biggest surprise this year as nothing great was expected from them. But they came up with some great wins and now in race of favourites to reach the next stage.

Their recent win came against Mumbai Indians where they won it by 7 wickets. Return of Shikhar Dhawan has added flavour to their success. Perera and Sammy are two good allrounders in the team. Vihari has contributed well so far to win two man of the match awards. They also possess one of the best bowling line ups of IPL that consists of Steyn, Ishant Sharma, Amit Mishra and Karan Sharma.
Can David Warner create a win for his team at Hyderabad?
Meanwhile Delhi Daredevils has lately found form but it seems to be too late for them now. Sir Viv Richards has blown some life into this team and even their fielding standards have gone up. Although Jayawardene and Sehwag continue to be inconsistent but David Warner has contributed consistently well. It is also good to see young Unmukt Chand scoring some runs lately. Bowlers like Irfan, Yadav, Morkel and Nadeem can give the Sunrisers a tough time though.

After the inclusion of Darren Sammy, the Sunrisers look even stronger. On the other hand Unmukt Chand is a future star and his return in form can benefit Delhi. Pitch here would provide an even contest between bat and ball. So let us hope for another tight finish that should go to whichever team that plays well.

Kolkata vs Chennai and Rajasthan vs Bangalore Live Streaming

IPL Live Streaming Cricket 2013

IPL Live Streaming 2013 continues online as we see one after the other cliff hangers! Two huge sixes by Perera in the penultimate over against Kings XI Punjab gave Sunrisers another win and thus they clinch the top position in points tally from Rajasthan. But these changes are temporary as another win for Rajasthan today may take them to the apex again.

Kolkata Knight Riders vs Chennai Super Kings at the Eden Gardens

First match today features two heavyweights Kolkata and Chennai. The defending champions are languishing in the bottom half of points tally and striving hard to find winning ways. They have been good in patches to win some of the matches but they overall need to win more than lose. They need to perform like defending champions and the team to beat.

Good thing for KKR is they have won both their home fixtures this year and today is again a home match for them. But beating CSK anywhere isn't a walk in the park. CSK lost to Pune recently and to recover from that shock they came out with all guns blazing against Delhi Daredevils to register an emphatic win. That win was so huge that it improved their Net run rate by a huge margin and they toppled Mumbai Indians to take fourth spot in the rankings.
The captains would play a vital role today
Gautam Gambir is the key batsman for KKR as he has consistently scored runs this season. Similar to this case, MS Dhoni plays a very vital role for CSK. It has been observed that CSK has started they innings with a very slow net run rate and they try to accelerate in death overs. This strategy has worked against them in their two losses so far - one against Mumbai and one against Pune. Here MS Dhoni can play a very important role if he comes up the order. He did the same against Delhi and scored quickfire knock.

Rajasthan Royals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore at Bangalore

76 matches in all for this year's IPL and we are now into match number 27th - Rajasthan takes on the Royal Challengers. This match promises competitive cricket! Both these teams have displayed brilliant cricket and hence produced entertaining matches in IPL 2013.

Both these teams have won four matches each but RCB has played one game more than RR. Either of these teams can move to the top spot of points table if they can win here. Although RCB would start at favourites to win at home, but we all know what is the calibre of the opponents Rajasthan Royals!
Rahul Dravid would be aiming for the number one spot in points table
Chris Gayle, Kohli and AB de Villiers have been star performers for RCB and they need to click today also if their team has to win. On the other hand, Rahul Dravid and Ajinkya Rahane has proved that T20 is not all about sixes, it is also about pure technique.

As far as the head to head stats of these two teams is concerned, RCB leads the count 5-4 whereas one match in 2011 was abandoned due to rain. Can Rajasthan Royals prove their mettle and beat RCB in Bangalore? Or will it be a straight win for RCB? Let us wait and watch!

IPL Series Results So Far

Indian Premier League has fascinated cricket fraternity year after the other. So far five editions of IPL have been played and each of them have been successful in their own ways. Four editions were played in India and one in South Africa. Let us have a look at the series results so far!

IPL 1 (2007/08):
The first edition was played in India. The final match was played between Chennai Super Kings led by Dhoni and Rajasthan Royals led by Shane Warne. On 1st June 2008, CSK scored 163 for 5 batting first at Mumbai. In reply Rajasthan Royals scored 164 for 7. This was a nail biting last ball finish.

Deccan Chargers led by Adam Gilchrist scored 143 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 6 wickets. RCB led by Anil Kumble felt short of just 6 runs and lost the finals to Deccan Chargers.

IPL 3 (2009/10):
The third edition was played in India. The final  match was played between Dhoni led CSK and Sachin Tendulkar led Mumbai Indians at Mumbai on 25th April 2010. CSK scored 168 batting first and restricted MI to 149/9 to win the title by 22 runs.

IPL 4 (2011):

Let us hope IPL 2013 (IPL 6) brings us another season of great cricket performances

MI vs Kings XI Punjab - KKR vs DC - Sachin returns for MI - DC needs a win

MI vs KXIP Live Streaming - KKR vs DC Live Streaming

Did anyone watch Ganguly clinching the wicket of Pietersen last night and then celebrating like a kid? Some said he has a bad haircut and some said he needs a good hair styling gel. Well does that really matter? What matters is his passion for the game even at this age and the way he celebrated after that wicket. He played an important role in last night's win. This is what IPL is all about! Pure excitement.

Let us discuss about today's two big matches that serves a tasty cricketing treat on Sunday:-

1st Match - Mumbai Indians vs Kings XI Punjab

This is the 28th match of IPL 2012. Five days ago Mumbai Indians suffered a loss against Delhi Daredevils and its time for them to set things straight. Mumbai has not yet performed to its potential. Above all its dependability on Sachin and Malinga is vulnerable. 92 all out against Delhi Daredevils was a big disappointment for the team.

To add to their worries, last year's highest wicket taker and the most prolific IPL bowler Lasith Malinga has suffered a severe back injury and he flies back home to Srilanka. He won't be playing atleast for next couple of weeks. MI has won 3 out of 5 games and they badly need couple of more wins to get their winning momentum going on.

Chances are high that Sachin Tendulkar will play today and this would be a big cheer in the Mumbai Indians camp. As far as bowling is concerned, in absence of Malinga a lot depends now on quick bowling of Munaf and RP Singh.

On the other hand, Kings XI Punjab have seen consecutive losses and they badly need a victory now. This team is over dependent on the performances of overseas players. Hussey would again lead the team in absence of Gilchrist. Hussey needs to strike well whereas Shaun Marsh is already in a decent form.

Azhar Mahmood did a good job in death overs with his batting in the last match. He is a T20 match winner and he can do a lot for this team. Piyush Chawla looks promising whereas Praveen Kumar has not yet clinched a wicket in IPL 2012.

2nd Match - Kolkata Knight Riders vs Deccan Chargers

Kolkata Knight Riders have not been able to convert good performances into wins. They stand on 5th position of points tally with three wins and three losses. They managed to win their last match against Kings XI Punjab. Batting looks out of form with Kallis and Yusuf Pathan yet to play to their potential.

Bowling department has saved Gambhir and company. Brett Lee, Narine and Balaji has done a very good job so far for Kolkata Knight Riders. KKR can't take Deccan Chargers lightly as one loss here can slide them down in the points table.

Deccan Chargers have been the most unsuccessful team so far in this year's IPL simply because they haven't won any match. Four straight losses in four matches for Deccan Chargers. Three out of those four matches should have ideally been gone into DC's pockets but their bowling has not been good in the death overs.

Batsmen like Shikhar Dhawan and Kumar Sangakkara have provided good starts to the innings. The team has managed to score big but apart from Dale Steyn none of the bowlers have performed well to anchor the match to a win.

Chennai Super Kings Vs Kochi Tuskers Kerala - Preview

There is one team in this IPL who is not dependent majorly on a single player. Contributions come from almost all the players. This team is Chennai Super Kings. One would hardly find a shortcoming in this team. Bowling has been good enough to help the team lead towards victories. Batting department has been their strength. Unlike Kochi Tuskers, CSK has many players with more than 300 runs in this edition of IPL.

CSK has already qualified into the playoffs so the result of today's match hardly matters to them. But the outcome matters a lot to the Tuskers. KTK has to beat CSK very comprehensively to improve their net run rate and expect that KKR loses rest of their matches. This slim probability; if comes true, can sneak them into the play offs.

Mahela Jayawardene won't be featuring in today's match. Muralitharan may sneak into the playing eleven. No to forget, this match is to be played at Chennai, where CSK has an excellent record. Beating CSK on their home ground would be a big confidence booster for KTK.

IPL benefits all!

Since the time IPL evolved, it has always seen two faces. It has been criticised by one section of the cricket fans and it has been applauded by the other. The first section believes it is slowly decreasing the importance of other formats of the game which is test cricket and ODI.

Pragmatically speaking, IPL has worked wonders for lot many people. There are huge number of players in big nations like India or Australia who can't make it to the national side. They work hard for years and years to make a place in the final squad of their respective countries. But is it possible for all of them. For an IPL entry, a guy who played domestic cricket and has certain T20 skills could make it. If not for the national team, atleast he could play for the leagues like IPL and make money for his livelihood.

Other good thing about IPL is it bring into picture some good players which generally would have gone unnoticed. Some new talents come up who are then selected to play for the national side atleast in the limited versions of the game.

Third thing, a cricketer who feels he should retire from a certain form of international cricket can invest his time in leagues like IPL which can make him earn a good amount. Things like IPL have earned a lot of fame and name. These leagues also gives job opportunities to people right from groundsmen, stadium staff, reporters, photographers, writers, commentators, ticket vendors and many more.

IPL benefits all of them. And above all it provides good entertainment to the cricket fans. IPL 5th edition begins in the month of April. Enjoy IPL live streaming cricket online.
