This could be the match of today and certainly a match of heavy weights. These two teams have always produced nail biters when they face each other. Gayle is unstoppable and so is Chennai Super Kings. So let us see how they stop each other today.

Gayle again proved his mettle by smashing 85 runs not out against the defending champions KKR. Chennai has been able to stop him too early in the past. If Chennai succeeds to do that today, they have the upper hand. Overall it is the Gayle factor that makes the difference between these two evenly matched teams.

Suresh Raina would be another batsman worth watch. Gayle has hit 150 plus sixes in IPL history and the second best in the line is Raina with 97 sixes. If Raina gets going, so does Chennai Super Kings. We can also expect some towering sixes from MS Dhoni.

We are almost at the conclusion of IPL 2011. The only thing remaining is the decider, the grand final which will also bring the official coronation of the winner! The two teams that had topped the points tally are also meeting each other in the final after they met in the 1st qualifier. Fair enough isn't it? Top two teams play in the finals.

Last night in the 2nd qualifier, RCB comprehensively defeated MI to make a place in the finals against CSK. It was again the Gayle innings that stole the show. He completely dismantled the bowling attack of MI. This would be the second time RCB has made it to the finals. But they are yet to clinch the title.

If Chris Gayle clicks tonight for one more time, it would be a nightmare for CSK. Undoubtedly they would love to see his back at the earliest. RCB's batting lineup is headed by the Gayle power followed by Kohli and de Villiers. Bowling has been impressive in the presence of Vettori and Zaheer Khan. RCB is one of the best teams this year in the fielding department.

CSK again plays at home and this time in the finals. Biggest positive for CSK is they haven't lost a single match this year playing at home. They last played against RCB and in a dramatic win they chased a mammoth score of 176. Apart form the 'Dhoni' factor, this team has match winners like Hussey, Raina, Vijay, Badrinath, Morkel, etc. Bowling department is one of the most reliable ones amongst the IPL teams including Morkel, Ashwin, Bravo, etc. CSK has been the most dominating team in the IPL history with one title win and reaching the knock outs every single time the IPL has been played. CSK vs RCB - Decider for the top spot

Can an IPL be more interesting than this? Just yesterday we came to know the final four teams. But on the last day of the round robin matches; we are still uncertain about the final four spots of these teams. Today's matches would decide the final four spots. Not to forget, this year's IPL has a different format where teams finishing on the top two positions have an added advantage over the third and fourth team.

CSK is currently placed at the top and a win here will cement their position on the top spot. Even a marginal loss here won't affect their position as they have a good net run rate. So a loss will finish them probably on second position. With more number of wins in their pockets, today's match has left out less uncertainties for CSK.

RCB has been excellent after Chris Gayle joined the party. Just a loss in their last match against Kings Eleven brought them on the second spot. A loss here may bring them on third or fourth position as they will have to depend on the result of Mumbai Indians Vs Kolkata Knight Riders result.

If Chris Gayle stays there for 7-8 overs, he can create nightmares for the oppositon. Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers have to play an important role today.
