Meanwhile Delhi Daredevils who finished top of the table last year, has been completely disappointing this year. A survey says Virender Sehwag has been the biggest flop this year followed by Ricky Ponting and Yuvraj Singh. Apart from his innings of 95 runs against Mumbai Indians, he hasn't done anything good for the team. David Warner has played well this year but he always lacked support from the other end. Morne Morkle who clinched the purple cap last year looks ineffective this year.

Now they should forget everything and win left out matches to regain some pride. Who knows a miracle may take them to the top four at the end of round robin matches.

Players like Aaron Finch, Yuvraj Singh, Uthappa or Angelo Mathews couldn't do any wonders for Pune as the team kept disappointing the fans. The last match they won was a month back on 15th April. This shows how woeful their form could be. In the bowling line up, sans Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, no ones has been impressive. This team needs an overall improvement in all departments of the game.

Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals

This has to be a huge one! These two teams are giving a tough fight to Chennai Super Kings for the top two spots. It seems one of these two would end up in top two or probably both of them. So its likes watching a trailer of one of the play-off matches. Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals will lock horns to topple each other and move up in the points table.

Pollard played a brilliant innings against Sunrisers Hyderabad to clinch a win for Mumbai. Sachin seems to be in good touch and so are Rohit Sharma and Dinesh Karthik. Mitchell Johnson is bowling brilliantly well and he can always play a major role in the bowling line up. Although Malinga has seen a silent league this year, he can be in his true form any time! Harbhajan and Ojha have done a decent job this year.

Rajasthan Royals are in great form. Rahul Dravid and Rahane are consistent. But Watson plays big knocks regularly to give the team a huge win! They lost to Mumbai followed by a big win against Hyderabad and the latest one was a loss against Rajasthan Royals at Jaipur.

Although CSK is in the top race for play-offs, they can still be in danger if they don't win from hereon. People love to see this team in last round of IPL and hopefully they will come up with spirited performances this team is well known for. World's best finisher MS Dhoni is for a big knock. Hussey is consistently scoring a lot of runs for the team. Raina is back in form but he has to be consistent if his team has to win. Kings XI Punjab's dream of making it into the play-offs now looks improbable but mathematically they are still in the race. But it isn't easy to win straight four matches under such pressure. It really needs a spirited performance from the whole team.

David Miller showed a great spirit against RCB where he scored a 38 ball century and pulled out an unbelievable victory for the team. But after that Kings XI couldn't continue the winning form as they lost to Rajasthan Royals at home. The opponents today Sunrisers Hyderabad also have a similar story. Even they are in the race of play-offs and in better situation compared to Kings XI. But even they lost their last match and that was against Chennai Super Kings.

A lot rides on the shoulders of Perera and Dhawan if Sunrisers have to win. Because overall this team hasn't been too impressive with the bat. Bowling wise they have Steyn, Mishra, Ishant and Karan Sharma to make sure that the economy rate stays low.

The visiting team Rajasthan Royals is in unbeatable form thanks to some brilliant batting performances by Rahul Dravid and Ajinkya Rahane. The biggest question mark for this team has been their poor performances in the away games. They would love to improve their records here at Mohali. A good knock is expected from mighty Shane Watson.

Apart from Morgan and Bisla all the other batsmen have hardly contributed for the team.

Pune Warriors have managed to win just two matches this year. They are consistently inconsistent in all the departments of the game. Bowling department of Hyderabad can easily be called one of the best this year. Dale Steyn can feel proud about his bowling figures in all the matches. Amit Mishra has clinched enough wickets to be in the race of the Purple Cap which is held by Chennai's Bravo at this moment. Karan Sharma and Ishant Sharma have been tidy with their bowling.

Talking about the visiting team Chennai Super Kings, Michael Hussey is few runs short of Chris Gayle to clinch back the Orange Cap. Murali Vijay could be a wrong choice for the playing eleven in presence of the impressive Saha. Raina has regained his form but he needs to be careful of his early shot selections and consistency of course. Mohit Sharma along with Bravo is doing a good job in the bowling line up. If R Ashwin can start picking up more wickets, CSK can be a better team in terms of the bowling department.

After a stunning victory over the team to beat CSK, Mumbai Indians now take on the fancied Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. MI enjoys the home conditions to the optimum and its hard to beat them at Wankhede.

Kolkata Knight Riders have slimmest of chances for play-offs berth as they have to win all their remaining matches. The rough form of Gautam Gambhir is now a worry for the team. Bisla has been in good form but is it too late for the team's good? Kallis and McCullum couldn't impress at all this year. KKR is in a do or die situation and hence all the players need to click if they have to beat the strong Mumbai team at home.

Delhi after losing six matches on the trot showcased a spirited performance on Sunday as they chased a big total against Mumbai comfortably. Question is will the out of sort Delhi team be able to capitalise on that brilliant win against Mumbai and continue winning or will they lose track again and languish at the bottom of points table. If Chennai succeeds to do that today, they have the upper hand. Overall it is the Gayle factor that makes the difference between these two evenly matched teams.

Suresh Raina would be another batsman worth watch. Gayle has hit 150 plus sixes in IPL history and the second best in the line is Raina with 97 sixes. If Raina gets going, so does Chennai Super Kings. We can also expect some towering sixes from MS Dhoni.

Rajasthan Royals have played Delhi ten times in the past and they have managed to win four. Apart from the first year's IPL title win, RR has always been disappointing and seen in the bottom teams of IPL. 

This certainly looks to be the last IPL for RR captain and the 'Wall' Rahul Dravid. So he would love to end his IPL streak with another title to his team. The team would expect good performances from the overseas players as well as Ajinkya Rahane, Menaria, Stuart Binny, etc.

Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians (2nd Match)

The best team so far in the IPL history and last year's runners-up Chennai Super Kings takes on Mumbai Indians at their home ground. This would be a tougher match for Mumbai as they just lost to Rajasthan Royals and now they lock horns with a very strong team of Chennai. Another loss here for Mumbai will put them on back foot!

Not to forget, CSK has brilliant winning record at home. The team would certainly miss the services of some very key players like Morkel, Faf du Plesis, etc who would join the team very soon. Couple of Srilankan players may not play as well due to the ongoing political issues.

The most consistent and best performing captain ever in IPL has been MS Dhoni. He is the only captain to stay unchanged in the IPL history. He scores good amount of runs for the team and leads from the front. Suresh Raina is the biggest batting asset for CSK. They also have good openers like Hussey and Murali Vijay. Badrinath provides a good strength to the middle order. Jadeja performs a good allrounder job in shortest form of cricket.
