RCB Vs CSK Live - This qualifier will decide the first finalist today

Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings being the top two teams this year in IPL, will play against each other in the 1st Qualifier. Just a change in IPL format this year, makes entry into the finals a cake-walk, if a team can finish in top two. Winner of the 1st qualifier tonight will get a direct entry into the finals.

RCB looks favourite as they defeated CSK day before yesterday, again thanks to a brilliant knock from Chris Gayle. At the same time, we shouldn't forget that CSK has been the best team in IPL history in terms of win and loss ratio and they are the defending champions also. Above all, they have always been through to knock out stages in all the previously played IPLs.

One thing both the team can enjoy is a stress less play tonight. A win would certainly take a team to the final. But a loss here doesn't eliminate the team. The loser tonight will play against the winner of Mumbai Indians Vs Kolkata Knight Riders match. An added advantage as it provides one more chance to enter the final.

Venue for tonight's match is Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

RCB has won 8 out of their recently concluded 9 matches. All the wins have a major contribution from Jamaican Chris Gayle. He has blasted in all the innings and dismantled the opposition with his powerful batting display. At the same time, players like Virat Kohli, AB de Velliers, Zaheer Khan, Vettori have provided vital contributions to the team's winning cause.

CSK has won more at home than away. This would be a concern for them. They haven't lost any match at home and fortunately the final is to be played in Chennai this year. But for that they have to make it to the finals by winning tonight. A good knock from Badrinath and Raina is awaited. Dhoni and Hussey are in good form.

Undoubtedly CSK would love to get Gayle out at the earliest after having some good amount of runs on the board. Certainly this match would provide us the best cricketing treat as the top two quality teams battle it out for a place in the finals.

Kings Eleven Punjab seeks a win against out of reckoning Deccan Chargers

DC Vs KXIP Live

Deccan Chargers were not impressive enough in this season to proceed to the next round. They never looked like doing that. Two wins in a row in last two matches against Pune Warriors and Mumbai Indians is something to cheer about for them.

On the other hand, Kings Eleven Punjab has certainly added flavour to this year's IPL with their astonishing performance in the second half of IPL. After World Cup 2011, this year's IPL lacked lustre. But KXIP's will to reach the play offs have added enthrallment.

Win against Royal Challengers Bangalore with a brilliant ton from Gilchrist took KXIP to a higher level which cemented their belief to reach next round. They would be looking to beat Deccan Chargers and make 8 wins out of 14 to match with other toppers. Net run rate will come into picture. A big win here would give an advantage to Kings Eleven.

The excitement of which four teams will make into the play offs is keeping the interest alive in IPL. Chennai Super Kings have already entered the next round. Mumbai Indians loss yesterday have toughened their situation and they will have to win their last match against KKR.

Season 5 begins from April 2012. So stay tuned with SET Max live streaming online.

IPL Excitement Continues as points tally keeps shuffling

IPL 2011 has reached true excitement where the points table keeps shuffling every other day. Teams that were lying down in the bottom last week have found place in the top half of the table. One day we see KKR on the top, the other day RR topples KKR and now we again see MI on the top.

Teams like DD and PWI have suffered too many losses resulting in the lowest positions of the table. But fight for the apex still continues between teams like MI, KKR and RR. Punjab has played less matches so it is too hard to predict anything about them. They could anytime be in top three if they win two or three matches on the trot.

CSK is good enough to reach top three too. Thus IPL has reached a stage where it is too hard to predict which four teams would reach the knock outs. Excitement continues!

IPL benefits all!

Since the time IPL evolved, it has always seen two faces. It has been criticised by one section of the cricket fans and it has been applauded by the other. The first section believes it is slowly decreasing the importance of other formats of the game which is test cricket and ODI.

Pragmatically speaking, IPL has worked wonders for lot many people. There are huge number of players in big nations like India or Australia who can't make it to the national side. They work hard for years and years to make a place in the final squad of their respective countries. But is it possible for all of them. For an IPL entry, a guy who played domestic cricket and has certain T20 skills could make it. If not for the national team, atleast he could play for the leagues like IPL and make money for his livelihood.

Other good thing about IPL is it bring into picture some good players which generally would have gone unnoticed. Some new talents come up who are then selected to play for the national side atleast in the limited versions of the game.

Third thing, a cricketer who feels he should retire from a certain form of international cricket can invest his time in leagues like IPL which can make him earn a good amount. Things like IPL have earned a lot of fame and name. These leagues also gives job opportunities to people right from groundsmen, stadium staff, reporters, photographers, writers, commentators, ticket vendors and many more.

IPL benefits all of them. And above all it provides good entertainment to the cricket fans. IPL 5th edition begins in the month of April. Enjoy IPL live streaming cricket online.
