They badly needed a morale booster win and they did it against Delhi. CSK pulled their biggest win so far in terms of runs when they defeated Delhi by 93 runs. That improved their net run rate by leaps and bounds.

Rajasthan Royals started their campaign with a win but similar to CSK, lost their second match to Kings XI Punjab. Kings XI seems to be a team to beat at this moment! But not to forget, IPL is full of crests and troughs. It is not going to be easy for any team in forthcoming matches.

Both CSK and RR had similar woes against Kings XI. After posting a decent total they lost to Kings XI, due to some loose bowling. They need to gather everything in terms of their bowling attack before they could think of a win here. A lot depends on Ashwin, Hilfenhaus, Mohit Sharma and Badree (for CSK) if he is to play today. Similarly Rajasthan Royals would depend on Faulkner, Tambe, Bhatia, Cooper and many more to name. Shane Watson has to pick the right combination to beat the best IPL team.

Kolkata Knight Riders are already knocked out due to their disastrous performance this year. The defending champions could win just five matches out of 13. Beating in-form RCB would be a daunting task for them but if they clinch a win here, that would be a huge consolation for them.

Royal Challengers Bangalore returned with a tight win against Delhi Daredevils. RCB is a mightly team but hasn't look too convincing in last few matches. After few losses they managed a win lately and if they don't win from hereon, a team like Hyderabad can enter the race and topple them to reach the play-offs. So RCB can't take this match lightly. A win here would strengthen their chances of reaching the next round. Again a lot relies on the likes of Gayle, Kohli, AB de Villiers, etc. A good knock from Bisla, Gambhir or Kallis can make things tougher for the visiting team RCB.

Chennai Super Kings vs Rajasthan Royals

Get ready for a super match as Chennai Super Kings face Rajasthan Royals at Jaipur. This is going to be a nail biter. Chennai Super Kings are so far the best team this year and they also happen to be the best team so far in IPL history. They will face Rajasthan Royals who are in great form at home. CSK has already confirmed its place in the play-offs. Rajasthan would need a win or two to seal the berth.

Rahul Dravid has led from the front. Ajinkya Rahane who has been far away from the limelight again proved his worth with three back to back half tons in last three matches. The only successful overseas player for RR has been Shane Watson and he has done good in patches. James Faulkner still eyes the purple cap whereas Ajit Chandila has supported him pretty well in the bowling line up.

Chennai Super Kings is glad to see the southpaw Raina back to form. He becomes the only player in the IPL to have scored 400 runs in each edition. Not to mention, CSK also has the best run scorer this year, Michael Hussey. We can always expect a finishing act from the skipper Dhoni. Bravo still holds the purple cap and provides regular breakthroughs to his captain. Ravindra Jadeja plays a vital role as an all rounder. Some wickets from R Ashwin would be a winning catalyst for the team.

This team would certainly look to carry on their winning momentum and register another victory against Rajasthan Royals. 

Ravindra Jadeja has proved his worth and has clicked almost every time for his team. He clinched three wickets against Kolkata and when the middle order didn't click, he smashed 36 runs off just 14 balls. A very good knock from Michael Hussey came in handy. Hussey is amongst the top run scorers this year in the IPL. He will be a key factor against Rajasthan Royals.

Rajasthan Royals registered a huge win against Mumbai Indians but as inconsistency bothers every single team of IPL, so does it bother Rajasthan Royals. After a win against Mumbai, they slumped against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Saturday. 

Overall Rajasthan's team has looked solid at the top order of batting line up. But they need to solidify their brittle middle order. Especially when they are facing a very formidable bowling line up of Chennai Super Kigns. Apart from Dravid and Rahane, the other batsmen have not yet performed upto the mark.

Head to head, Chennai leads the count way ahead 7-4 which shows the dominance of this team against Rajasthan. Dravid is confident enough of his team and so is MS Dhoni. So let us see which of these great cricketers see their team winning in Chennai.

1st Match - Delhi Daredevils vs Deccan Chargers

Deccan Chargers have impressed overall with their batting but nothing new as their bowling department keeps them letting down. After AB de Villiers turned tables on them, Deccan Chargers again faced a defeat against Kings XI Punjab. Every win from now on for Deccan Chargers would be spoiling party for some or the other teams.

As usual, Shikhar Dhawan, Cameron White and Sangakkara have provided a good batting display for Deccan Chargers. Apart from Dale Steyn none of the bowlers have impressed leaving the bowling line up very fragile.

On the other hand Delhi has been the most dominating team this year. They lost their last match against Kolkata  Knight Riders to concede top spot to them. But Delhi has played one game less than Kolkata so they have an opportunity to topple them in terms of points after playing equal matches.

Delhi Daredevils' top order has performed upto the mark. Especially Virender Sehwag and Kevin Pietersen did a brilliant job before Kevin had to leave for England to play against West Indies. David Warner needs to perform well so that the team doesn't feel Kevin's absence. Bowling is well handled by Umesh Yadav, Irfan Pathan and Albie Morkel.

2nd Match - Chennai Super Kings vs Rajasthan Royals

Chennai Super Kings didn't look like defending champions apart from a match or two. They are sliding down the points tally and the closest competitors are toppling them to climb up the standings. Rajasthan Royals is a team in good form and to beat them would not be easy in Jaipur.

Shane Watson hammered 90 runs in 50 odd balls against Pune Warriors to provide a brilliant win to Rajasthan Royals. Rahul Dravid and Ajinkya Rahane can provide a good support to Watson. Rajasthan's bowling has been pretty good so far.

Chennai needs to play every game from hereon as a must win encounter. They can't afford to lose any more matches. Batting had been good for them so far but someone like Raina or Bravo need to gain momentum. If they can win most out of the remaining four matches, they can very well find themselves in the play-offs.
