CSK and MI are head to head equally matched teams with 10 wins shared. But Chennai Super Kings might not be considered as favourites here due to their not so good record at the Wankhede Stadium. In presence of Ashish Nehra, Ishwar Pandey, R Ashwin, Jadeja, Negi and Bravo; the team has restricted the oppositions to modest totals. That has been a key to CSK's success this year. Even after posting a below par total, their bowlers have done a great job to defend the score.

For Mumbai Indians this is a golden opportunity to beat CSK at home and reach the Eden Gardens final! They would enjoy the crowd support and they have played real good cricket at home. The good part is their whole batting line up has found its form at the right time. Lendl Simmons and Parthiv Patel are doing well at the top of the order. Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu are scoring consistently in the middle order whereas Pollard and Harbhajan come in handy with the bat.

Lasith Malinga has found his form too while McClenaghan is proving fatal for the oppositions. Harbhajan, Suchith and Pollard are doing a decent job with the ball to contain the opposition.

The race for play offs have intensified and RCB looks firm to make it there. They posted 200 plus scores against Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians. First it was Gayle who took on the Kings XI bowlers to hit a 57 ball 117 runs innings. Even bigger carnage against Mumbai Indians was lead by AB de Villiers and well supported by Virat Kohli. They both went on to share a partnership of mammoth 215 runs!

The only worry for RCB could be their bowling. They have leaked good amount of runs. Even Mitchell Starc went for runs against MI. Overall he has been highly economical and Kohli would expect some good bowling figures from his bowlers tonight.

Kings XI Punjab have nothing to lose. They are already out of the race. They have aimed to spoil parties of other teams but failed in the end. Will it be their night at Mohali? Will David Miller come up with another inspirational batting knock tonight? Or will Maxwell retain his form and show some high scoring skills at Mohali? Kings XI Punjab tour to Delhi to face the home team Delhi Daredevils. Both have shared similar fortunes this year. They haven't seen much of success so far. Both the teams are languishing in the bottom half of points tally. Kings is at the bottom while Delhi is at sixth position.

Delhi Daredevils have match winners but all they lack is a killer instinct. They need to go out there and play to win! Yuvraj Singh has given an indication that Zaheer Khan might play today. That would be a big boost in the bowling line up.

For Kings XI Punjab, nothing has went right. They have been good in patches but in the end they are at the losing end. They are completely the opposite of what they were in 2014 IPL edition. Lack of form from Miller, Maxwell and Sehwag is hurting them the most. Even the bowling line up isn't that effective this year. On the contrary, Rajasthan Royals are sitting on second position with 12 points (just below CSK). The team has gone a little off track since Watson returned as captain. He has to score more runs for the team tonight. Ajinkya Rahane knows this stadium well and he would be the ace for RR tonight.

Chasing 193, Kings XI managed only 90 odd runs in 20 overs. Now Kings XI have just four points from six matches. They really need to shift gears and start winning before they are completely out of the contention.

Sunrisers have a similar picture in front of them. They have just two wins out of six matches. Just the better net run rate keeps them above MI and Kings XI. Its getting late for them as well. David Warner and company need to nail the close ones.

Their last outing against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede was an absolute failure. They were chasing a modest total of 150 plus. But they never looked like winning. Ideally that total should have been chased with ease in presence of Warner and Dhawan.

The team is over relying on Warner and Dhawan's knocks. The middle order needs to click now before its too late. The bowling still looks good in presence of Boult, Praveen Kumar, Steyn, Karn Sharma and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar.

For Kings XI Punjab, Maxwell still holds the ace. But he isn't in good form at all. Shaun Marsh is reliable if he gets an opportunity tonight. David Miller and Sehwag too have looked silent this season. Bailey is yet to find the right combination for the winning formula.

This match promises to be highly competitive because both the teams are badly looking for a win here.

Yusuf Pathan, Andre Russell and Morne Morkel are doing a decent job. Sunil Narine need to shine like he did last year.

The second match will be between Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Delhi Daredevils will enjoy the home advantage at Ferozshah Kotla stadium in Delhi. Shreyas Iyer played a match winning knock last time for Delhi Daredevils. Yuvraj Singh is yet to prove his mettle. JP Dumminy is a brilliant all rounder and a good captain too. Imran Tahir tops the wicket lists and proudly holds the purple cap. Amit Mishra gives him a good support.

Royal Challengers are struggling to earn points but they succeeded in winning the last match. Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli form an integral part of the team. If they all click in tandem, probability of RCB winning multiplies. David Wiese can provide important breakthroughs along with Iqbal Abdulla and Yuzvendra Chahal.
