Chennai Super Kings (two times Champions) would face a re-jigged Delhi Daredevils. CSK has a good history of finishing in final four almost every year. It is nothing less than a semi final for Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Daredevils. Simply because the one who wins enters the finals and the other flies back home. Kolkata Knight Riders have already entered the finals for the first time ever and they are busy preparing themselves for the grand match. Meanwhile they will also have a close eye on this qualifier where they would have separate strategies for both the teams.

Delhi Daredevils has almost dominated most of their oppositions through out and reigned over position one in the points tally. Certainly the onus is on the Delhi openers Sehwag and Warner. These two are swashbuckling batsmen who can tear apart any bowling line up in the world. If they fail Delhi may find themselves in deep trouble. Middle order is strong with the likes of Jayawardene and Naman Ojha. Injury to Irfan Pathan has been a loss for Delhi Daredevils. Shahbaz Nadeem can play if Irfan isn't fit enough to make into the playing eleven. Umesh Yadav, Varun Aaron and Morne Morkel are the corner stones of Delhi's bowling line up.

Chennai Super Kings are most fancied team if we talk about the final stages of IPL. They are well known of playing better if they make it into the final four. And that was evident in their last match when they eliminated Mumbai with a comprehensive over them at Bangalore. Chennai smashed 187 and Mumbai never looked like chasing it. MS Dhoni struck form again on the right time and scored a quick 50. But that is well justified keeping in mind the overall experience of Michael Hussey. Bowling unit is currently led by Australian pace man Hilfenhaus. Morne Morkel and Bravo are another quickies in the team. Ashwin, Jadeja and Jakati are spin options for MS Dhoni. 

Wicket's nature here at Chepauk is too hard to predict. But there is a possibility that the track may support spin bowling keeping in mind the home team bowling strength. As this is a do or die match for both the teams we all can expect a cracker of a contest.
