Chennai Super Kings reliable all rounder Morkel has made an entry into the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Yuvraj Singh has moved into the Royal Challengers too. So entries of all rounders would strenghten team's batting and bowling department. Above all Morkel and Yuvraj strengthens the hard hitting ability of this team.

Virat Kohli is one the most consistent batsmen you would ever see. So he always the best person to have in the outfit. Ravi Rampaul, Starc and Morkel could be the economy bowlers for the team. Meanwhile the team has a lot of part time spinners to further deaccelarate the opposition run rate.

Delhi Daredevils lost Virender Sehwag who once used to be their star batsman. The team has got a fresh look now under Kevin Pietersen. Murali Vijay who did partially well for the CSK would now serve the Daredevils. Neesham, Unadkat, Shami, Nathan Coulter-Nile and Rahul Sharma can do an exceptionally good job with the ball.

It is too hard to predict a favourite at this moment but overall Royal Challengers look a stronger team. But you never know when it comes to cricket. On a very day any team may outbeat the favourites.

Gautam Gambhir who lost his place from the Indian team would be keen to perform better in IPL and regain his place in the national team. To support to his cause his team Kolkata Knight Riders has to do well this time. Their best performance came out in 2012 when they clinched the title in a enthralling final against the Chennai Super Kings. The team would rely a lot on their star captain Gambhir who has played 88 IPL matches and scored 2471 runs. 

The other key players for KKR would be Narine, Kallis and many more to name. They have an interesting inclusion this time Morne Morkel. He bowled exceptionally well for Delhi Daredevils in 2012 and KKR would expect a similar feat from the tall pacer.

IPL 2014 Ticket sale gets a great response in UAE

40,000 tickets sold in just three days!

IPL 2014 ticket sale started from last Thursday in the UAE for the matches to be played in the UAE. In a span of just three days, almost 40,000 tickets were sold. This has been a great start to the ticket sale for the league that is scheduled to be played out of India. 

The first 15 days of IPL's seventh edition would be played in the UAE due to political elections in India. The IPL will then move to India starting from 1st May 2014. IPL has earned a lot popularity not only in India but worldwide and the sale of so many tickets in just three days is a big proof for that.

Even the Chief Executive of the Emirates Cricket Board, David East, was delightred such a sparkling start to the online ticket sale. He agreed to the fact that cricket is growing worldwide including in the UAE. He is expecting good number of crowd in the stadiums to see the matches.

Live IPL Scores - Kolkata Knight Riders beat Deccan Chargers by 24 runs

The losing streak of KKR came to an end with a brilliant win against Deccan Chargers. KKR defeated DC by 24 runs with a brilliant 88 runs from 54 balls by Ganguly.

Batting first KKR scored 181 for 6 in 20 overs. In reply DC could manage 157 for 5 with Gibbs scoring 50 and Symonds scoring 45.

Delhi Daredevils outplayed Kolkata Knight Riders by 40 runs to register a comprehensive win. David Warner was the star today as he smashed 107 runs off 69 balls with 5 sixes to his name. Paul Collingwood supported him well with 53 runs from 45 balls. Delhi scored 177 for 4.

In reply Kolkata Knight Riders could just manage 137 for 9 in 20 overs. Chris Gayle was their highest scorer (30 from 21 balls).

IPL live scores - Mumbai Indians beat Deccan Chargers by 41 runs

Mumbai Indians are on fire this season. They now have 5 wins from 6 matches and they are on the top of the points table with 10 points.

At the D Y Patil Stadium here in New Mumbai, Mumbai Indians registered a comprehensive win over a strong Deccan Chargers team. Mumbai Indians scored 172 runs for 7 wickets with again Sachin scoring a brilliant 55 from 43 balls. A lightning 49 runs off just 18 balls by Harbhajan Singh helped the team to reach a high challenging score.

Deccan Chargers could never manage to have a fruitful partnership in their innings with wickets falling at regular intervals. They were bowled out for 131 with Rohit Sharma scoring 45 from 28 balls.
