IPL's eight edition kicks off from 8th April 2015. The premier league will have a grand opening ceremony scheduled to be held at Kolkata on 7th April 2015. The exact venue would be the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. Every year Indian Premier League gets a grand opening. We see all the teams, franchise owners, IPL officials and of course Bollywood stars performing on stage. This year too we will see a colourful ceremony.

The ceremony will begin from 7:30pm Indian Standard Time and will have some big personas of Bollywood performing for the event. The names of these stars are not yet disclosed. BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur confirmed that they will soon disclose the names of Bollywood star who would perform in the IPL 2015 ceremony.

The online ticket sale for the ceremony has already started from 5pm Wednesday. Minimum price for the tickets would be Rs. 200.
