Royal Challengers vs Mumbai Indians and KKR vs Daredevils - Double Header IPL Saturday

RCB vs MI and KKR vs DD Live on Star Sports and Sony Six

IPL fans are enjoying every bit of the matches so far with their favourite teams either outperforming the opposition or underperforming and getting outstated by the opponents. It is all in the game and with so many matches to go we have a lot in stock. IPL 2014 live streaming on Star Sports and Go Cricket continues in India while the TV viewers in India are enjoying live telecast of IPL's seventh edition.

Let us preview the double header matches for today.

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Mumbai Indians

Royal Challengers (RCB) had a great outing couple of days ago against a depleted Delhi Daredevils. It was good to see Virat performing consistently yet again. Vijay Mallya must have breathe a sigh of relief after seeing Yuvraj getting in his golden touch again. He scored 52 from just 29 balls (5 sixes and a strike rate of 179!). Virat scored 49 from 38 balls. Following is the wagon wheel of Yuvraj Singh's innings against the Delhi Daredevils.
Not to forget Parthiv Patel did the good job up the order in the batting line up. Royal Challengers will cherish a victory to kick off their account in IPL 2014. Unfortunately the cricket fans couldn't see Gayle playing in the first match. He suffered from some back issues. If he is fit, Nic Maddinsion will make way for the West Indies storm! RCB looks even stronger this year in presence of Albie Morkel, Yuvraj and Starc along with their regular members like Gayle, AB de Villiers, Kohli and many more to name.

On the other hand the IPL defending champions Mumbai Indians saw a demoralising start when they were defeated comprehensively by Kolkata Knight Riders. Nothing went Mumbai's way. The only thing to cheer about was a good knock from Rayudu. Narine did a great job to content the defending champs and welcome them to IPL 2014 with a defeat. This team has the second best win ratio in IPL history (CSK is on the top of the list). This team has the calibre to bounce back and that too early! Sachin Tendulkar would certainly have some good piece of advices for the MI players. And Mumbai Indians Twitter page had one such photo to support the fact

Kolkata Knight Riders vs Delhi Daredevils

One hand we have a team that unexpectedly kicked off the season very well by defeating Mumbai Indians. And on the other hand we have a team that has a fresh look but their opening match showcased a result pretty similar to their overall campaign last year. Kolkata Knight Riders would be high on confidence after some superb batting and bowling displays against Mumbai Indians. Kallis scored 72 from 46 balls while Manish Pandey scored 64. Gambhir the skipper departed for a duck and he must be determined to score big this time. Narine was exceptional with a bowling spell of 4/20.

Delhi Daredevils lacked lustre last year and hence we saw a lot of changes in the squad this time. Sehwag was dropped and this was the biggest one! KP didn't lead the team in the last match and Delhi fans would expect him to take care of the captaincy this time.  JP Duminy is a good inclusion in the team this year and he proved his worth in the last match. He was the highest scorer overall in the last match. With three sixes he scored 67 runs in 48 balls. Following is his Wagon Wheel for the 67 runs knock.
With a lot of star players featuring today in both the matches, we expect a great Saturday in the IPL 2014. Whether it would be Delhi that will open its account with a win or whether Kolkata will register its second win? Will Mumbai Indians thump the mighty Royal Challengers or will Kohli's XI emerge as the winning team again? We really don't know. Your predictions are always welcomed! Do comment at your leisure and enjoy IPL 2014!
