Piyush Chawla takes care of the spin front and he has to make sure that Hyderabad batsmen don't settle during the middle overs. Gony proved lethal in last match when he came to bat after Narine's hat trick and still showed no signs of fear. He smashed 42 runs from just 18 balls and anchored Punjab's innings to a big score.
Batting for Punjab still remains a concern. Biggest batting assets for Punjab are Gilchrist and David Hussey. Apart from one or two good knocks, they still haven't proved their mettle this year. They need to live up to the expectations of the team and click before its too late.
Although the pitch looks dry, the previous games haven't produced high scoring contests. So we can expect a maximum 145 runs pitch. Still that target can provide us a nail biter.
