MI Vs RCB - Hunt for 2nd finalist begins

The hunt for the second finalist begins today as Mumbai Indians play Royal Challengers Bangalore in the second qualifier. This is just a semifinal where the loser will be eliminated and the winner goes into the finals to play against Chennai Super Kings. The point to be noted here is these two teams along with Chennai are already qualified for Champions League which will be played later this year.

Last time when Mumbai Indians played against RCB, they won it comfortably. But the biggest reform created in RCB team was after Gayle arrived. And MI won against RCB before Gayle was a part of RCB. So things would be different this time. MI would be wary of the Gayle force.

Important contributions from Gayle and Kohli resulted in 7 on the trot wins for RCB during the round robin stage. After Dilshan left, a good innings is awaited from de Villiers. He has done a good job as a wicket keeper.

MI has depended a lot on Sachin's batting. His contribution in he wins has been vital. Rayudu and Rohit Sharma have been good with their batting. Symonds form was a worry and hence he wasn't included in the play off against KKR. Pollard's big hitting is still awaited. Malinga and Harbhajan have handled the bowling department pretty well. Yorkers from Malinga are just unplayable and we would surely see some of them today.

IPL Live Streaming Cricket online for 2012 begins in April 2012.
