Rajasthan Royals clinched a good win over Kings XI Punjab this season. Last season it was Kings XI Punjab that emerged as winners on two ocassions. Its a good chance for RR to return favours and clinch the second match of this season.
Shane Watson has returned to RR in style. His return didn't cost the RR team a lot of shuffling. He made way into the team and scored a quick fire 70 plus score to take his team home against CSK. Good to see Ajinkya Rahane constantly scoring runs against all oppositons. He holds the 'orange cap' and he rightly deserves so! Alongwith these two even Steve Smith and Deepak Hooda has scored good runs for the team.
The team has a good bowling line up. Likes of Pravin Tambe, James Faulkner, Chris Morris and Shane Watson. They can trouble the batting line up of Kings XI Punjab.
Punjab's team haven't yet enjoyed the success they had last year. The most impactful player for them last year was Glenn Maxwell who scored 294 runs in first four matches. This year he has managed to score just 61 runs from his first four matches. That is a striking difference that also shows a dip in performance for the whole team.
Virender Sehwag has also been good in patches. He hasn't scored consistently. The only Kings XI batsman to score a half century this year is George Bailey. Even Axar Patel has not been upto the mark the way he performed last year. A lot is also expected from the likes of Mitchell Johnson, Rishi Dhawan, Murali Vijay, David Miller and many more to name.
