If Royal Challengers Bangalore or Kings XI Punjab manage to win their next match, Chennai will further slide down in the points table. One of these two viz. Kings XI Punjab plays Deccan Chargers today.
Deccan Chargers have won just two out of their eleven matches but their batting has been outstanding so far. Thanks to Cameron White, Shikhar Dhawan and Kumar Sangakkara, this batting line up has piled up loads of runs. But their major problem is bowling department and hence they have failed to defend big totals. Plus playing at home tonight will add more pressure to the Deccan's team.
Kings XI Punjab on the other hand has a more balanced side. Batting relies a lot on Shaun Marsh, David Hussey, Mandeep Singh and Azhar Mahmood. Inclusion of Ryan Harris to the bowling line up has boosted the team's confidence. Piyush Chawla, Parvinder Awana and Praveen Kumar are already doing a good job for Kings XI Punjab.
